SMART I-Corridor Tech Hub Voucher Program (NY THRIVE)
The New York Semiconductor Manufacturing and Research Technology Innovation Corridor (NY SMART I-Corridor Tech Hub) is an initiative funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration and New York State Empire State Development that aims to enhance regional semiconductor manufacturing capabilities. Funding is available for regional businesses to access expertise and capabilities with regional universities, including Cornell. This opportunity, called the NY Tech Hub Resources & Innovation Vouchers for Enterprises (NY THRIVE), invites applications from companies across the semiconductor design, integrated device manufacturing, technology development, and related supply chain sectors. Eligible applicants can use innovation vouchers to fund access to state-of-the-art core facilities, specialized equipment, maker spaces, and intellectual assets – including research expertise – offered by participating universities including Cornell.

New Energy New York (NENY) Technical Assistance Program
The New Energy New York (NENY) Technical Assistance Program provides funding for startups and small and medium-sized manufacturers in the battery and energy storage sector to cover costs associated with utilizing state-of-the-art development, prototyping, testing, and certification service providers in New York State – including Cornell.
